What do I need to do for Open Enrollment?
This year’s open enrollment is considered an active enrollment. All benefit eligible employees need to take action by logging into the Benefits Assistance Center to confirm their benefit elections are correct for the 2020 plan year. Each year Flexible Spending Account elections need to be made through the Benefits Assistance Center (they will not roll over year-to-year). Other important tasks employees need to complete are below:

1.Make sure that the Social Security numbers and birth dates of your dependents/spouses are correct. It is important that you check each of your dependent/spouse Social Security numbers. If one or all are not correct, please update them once logged into the Benefits Assistance Center click ‘My Family’ on the left-hand side then edit.  If there are missing or incorrect Social Security numbers, you may be subject to a fine by the IRS. Please add them in the system if they are missing.

2.To view the SSN’s of your dependents, from the menu please click ‘My Family’. Click on edit for the family member in question.

3.To change your benefit elections, go through the portal selecting your options. Waive any benefit you do not want to elect.

4.Make sure that your life insurance benefits are correct. Please review your life insurance beneficiary and designate a beneficiary if you haven’t done so already. If you did not have voluntary life insurance in the prior year and you want to elect it, you must complete evidence of insurability (EOI).

Do I need to login to the Benefits Assistance Center even if I am not going to make changes?
Yes. Please log into the system to make sure your benefit elections are correct for the 2020 plan year. As a reminder, Flexible Spending Accounts do not roll over year-to-year. You will need to make a new election for the 2020 plan year.
Do I need to login to the Benefits Assistance Center even if I am not going to elect benefits?
No. If you do not plan to elect benefits for the 2020 plan year you do not need to login to the Benefits Assistance Center.
What do I do if my personal information is incorrect in the Benefits Assistance Center?
If your personal information is incorrect in the Benefits Assistance Center, please make updates to your demographic information (address, phone, email etc.), in ADP WFN system (https://workforcenow.adp.com/workforcenow/login).
Why do I need to provide Social Security numbers to the Benefits Assistance Center?
Under the Affordable Care Act, we are required to collect Social Security numbers and birthdates for all dependents covered by our medical plans. If this information is not provided to the IRS through the insurance companies, you may face a penalty from the IRS.

See locations and times below:

How do I save the changes I made to my benefits?
Submitting your benefit elections is final in the Benefits Assistance Center and you will be unable to change your benefits for the 2020 plan year. You should complete elections and not submit until you are sure the changes you want are final for your 2020 benefits. Completing elections and logging out of the system without clicking submit saves what you are working on and you can go back in at a later time and finish or change your elections. SUBMITTING MEANS YOU ARE CONFIRMING THAT YOUR ELECTIONS ARE FINAL FOR 2020.
When will my insurance become effective?
The 2020 insurance will go into effect on January 1, 2020. The deductions will appear on your first paycheck of the new year, dated January 3, 2020.
Will I get new insurance cards?
You will only receive a new ID card if you change plans or add new dependents.
